
Crystal Dunn speaks on husband Pierre Soubrier’s NWSL suspension
The Thorns fired Soubrier for improper administration of medication.
Orlando Pride goalkeeper Erin McLeod underwent a successful procedure on her right knee, the club announced Tuesday, and is expected to miss four to six weeks.
The NWSL regular season begins May 6.

McLeod is the second Pride player to suffer a knee injury prior to the season. Midfielder Marta will not return to the pitch for the Pride this season after tearing her ACL during the NWSL Challenge Cup.
The NWSL has lost several players to injuries during the first weeks of the preseason tournament. Kansas City forward Lynn Williams suffered a season-ending leg injury while USWNT defender Tierna Davidson tore her ACL during training. Angel City defender Sarah Gorden is out for an undisclosed amount of time, also with a knee injury.
Portland Thorns and USWNT defender Becky Sauerbrunn also suffered an injury but is expected to return by the start of the regular season at the end of April.

The NWSL will become the first women's pro league to do so
"It's just crazy that it's coming so fast," Mewis said.
O'Hara signed a two-year deal with the New Jersey club.
