The Oklahoma star notched her historic homer during the sixth inning of the Sooners’ game against the University of Hawai’i. Alo’s family was in the crowd for the momentous occasion, with the slugger’s hometown just 30 minutes outside of Hawaii’s campus.
The Senior’s record-breaking home run put the Sooners up 9-0, helping the team to an 11-0 victory which improves No. 1 Oklahoma to 18-0 on the season.
Alo broke former OU infielder Lauren Chamberlain’s 2015 record of 95 home run blasts, reaching the landmark in 224 games with the Sooners.
