The 2022 Isobel Cup Playoffs have arrived. All six Premier Hockey Federation teams have descended upon Tampa Bay for the postseason, which begins Friday.
For the first time in franchise history, the Connecticut Whale have secured the top seed in the playoffs, finishing the regular season in first place with 47 points. Right behind the Whale are the Toronto Six with 46 points. Both teams have earned a first-round bye and will await their opponents in the semifinals.
The Boston Pride are looking to defend their title from last year and win their third title overall. Boston is the only franchise with multiple championships to its name.
This season’s Isobel Cup final will take place at 9 p.m. ET Monday, March 28, on ESPN2.
