Nebraska ran the table on first-place votes, receiving all 63 AVCA Coaches Poll votes to remain atop the NCAA women's college volleyball rankings in Week 10. After sweeping both Michigan and Michigan State on the road in straight sets, the Huskers have tallied 23 consecutive wins.
Nebraska Stays on Top, Pitt Moves to 2nd in Coaches Poll
Pitt volleyball slotted in at No. 2 behind Nebraska coming off a seven-match winning streak of its own. The Panthers swept Wake Forest and NC State over the past week, with Kentucky transfer Jordyn Dailey notching 22 blocks across four matches.
While Nebraska and Pitt held steady, the rest of the women's college volleyball landscape shifted around them. Michigan State’s 0-2 week did the most damage. The Spartans blew a 2-0 set lead against No. 19 Indiana before falling in five, then got swept by Nebraska to drop from the weekly poll entirely.
That comeback win helped Indiana pull level with Vanderbilt at No. 21. Meanwhile, Louisville, Florida, and SMU filled out the top five, and Colorado cracked the rankings at No. 25.
Nebraska now turns toward No. 12 Oregon in Eugene — a matchup that should test whether the Huskers can survive their toughest road challenge yet.
