Arsenal downed Tottenham 3-0 on Wednesday to pull within one point of Chelsea in the Women’s Super League standings. The victory sets up a showdown between the clubs for the top of the table entering the season’s final weekend of competition.

Beth Mead opened up scoring for Arsenal, firing a low shot past the Tottenham goalkeeper to put her side up 1-0 in the third minute.

The second half was all Caitlin Foord, with the winger notching a brace to put the game out of reach.

Her first goal came after tapping in a Vivianne Miedema cross at the back post, doubling Arsenal’s lead in the 71st minute.

Ten minutes later, Foord buried her second goal of the game, firing a curler from the corner of the box.

Arsenal’s 3-0 shutout pushes the battle for the Women’s Super League title until the final day of competition.

Chelsea will face third-ranked Manchester United at 7 a.m. ET Sunday, while Arsenal will take on sixth-placed West Ham.
