The Candace Parker collection has officially dropped.
Parker and adidas have teamed up to drop a line of footwear and high-performance apparel, available to purchase at DICK’S Sporting Goods. The collection features the Exhibit (A)ce Low silhouette sneaker in three dynamic colorways, each representing a chapter in Parker’s legendary career and her impact on sports.
“Candace Parker is the real MVP! We are thrilled for her extraordinary achievements and the launch of her new collection,” said Kate Ridley, SVP of Brand at adidas. “In our partnership with DICK’S Sporting Goods, we aim to further the ambitions of role models like Candace to be mentors for girls by demonstrating that anything is possible, while empowering the next groundbreaking players through the ongoing expansion of our women’s basketball programs.”
All of the sizing in the collection is inclusive, a testament to the idea that sport belongs to everyone. It represents both brands’ commitment to the expansion of women’s basketball programs in an effort to empower trailblazers like Parker.
“I’m beyond excited to launch the Candace Parker Collection with my long-time partner, Adidas,” Parker said. “This collection represents so many important moments in my career and our hope is that it will reach and inspire the next generation of passionate athletes. It is amazing to see the progress female athletes have made over the last 20 years and this moment is an important step in the expansion of women’s basketball.”
The launch coincides with her “Impossible Is Nothing” campaign film paying homage to her legacy. The film is narrated by Patrick Mahomes, Fernando Tatis Jr., Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Derrick Rose, Parker’s family and more.
“Candace Parker exemplifies what it means to be the best,” said Carrie Guffey, Senior Vice President of Merchandising at DICK’S Sporting Goods. “We join the entire city of Chicago in congratulating her on all of her achievements. We are proud to be the exclusive retail partner for the Candace Parker Collection and to have product specifically designed for female athletes. We know that it will not only help female athletes perform their best, but also will inspire young athletes to pick up – and stay with – the game.”
The collection, which ranges in price from $16-$180, is available in stores and online at both adidas and DICK’S Sporting Goods.
Parker and the Chicago Sky host the Dallas Wings in the first round of the WNBA playoffs Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
