Kelsey Mitchell made WNBA history against Arike Ogunbowale and Dallas on Thursday, but it wasn't enough to give Indiana the win. The veteran guard scored 37 points in the night's key Fever vs Wings matchup, extending her 20+ points streak to 21 consecutive games. That surpassed A'ja Wilson's previous mark for the longest run in league history.
But even Mitchell's record couldn't lift the Fever past the Wings.

Arike Ogunbowale poured in 32 points to lead Dallas past Indiana 91-85, ending the Fever's five-game winning streak. Jessica Shepard backed her with a career-high 26 points, and Awak Kuier added 11 points, eight rebounds, and a career-high seven blocks while starting in place of injured Azzi Fudd.
The Indiana Fever got 11 points and 12 rebounds out of Makayla Timpson, plus 10 points and nine assists from Caitlin Clark. But Dallas out-rebounded them 32-28 to pull away late.
Fever vs Wings Result Reshapes 2026 WNBA Playoffs
Indiana falls to 24-13 with the loss.
The Fever returns to action Saturday against the New York Liberty before visiting the Chicago Sky on Sunday. That last stretch of their tough road tour should decide where they land in the WNBA standings.
The Wings, meanwhile, face the Seattle Storm on Sunday at 4 PM ET on NBA TV.
