In Sunday’s matchup against Portland, Gotham’s defense absorbed a relentless Thorns attack, holding steady to keep the game scoreless until the final whistle.
In the 27th minute, Estelle Johnson denied Morgan Weaver an open-net finish with a clutch goal-line clearance, a defensive feat Gotham FC fans have come to expect from the club.

Goalkeeper DiDi Haracic also delivered an impressive performance for Gotham, notching four saves to shut out Portland.
