May 3, 2021 – Just Women’s Sports, the fastest growing media platform for women’s sports, today named former Uber Eats, Google and Pinterest executive Ali Braverman Head of Revenue.
Braverman, who most recently served as Head of National Partnerships in the Midwest for Uber Eats, brings more than 10 years of experience working in enterprise partnership roles at Google, Pinterest and Uber Eats in both the U.S. and in Europe. Prior to joining Uber Eats, Braverman spent four years at Pinterest, where she split her time among the Chicago, Dublin and London offices. During her time in Europe she launched Pinterest’s ads product across dozens of new markets and built the European sales teams from the ground up. Prior to her professional career, Braverman was an All-American collegiate softball player at Emory University, where she earned a BBA in Marketing, Organization and Management.
Launched in 2020 by Haley Rosen, Just Women’s Sports provides news and analysis of women’s sports through exclusive interviews, podcasts, videos and other media content, and has quickly grown a passionate audience of fans, followers and listeners. In addition to its Just Women’s Sports podcast hosted by USWNT star Kelley O’Hara, Just Women’s Sports recently launched Snacks, a podcast co-hosted by USWNT stars Sam Mewis and Lynn Williams; Off the Ball featuring Olympian and NWSL star Ali Riley; and The Soccer Show, a first-of-its-kind digital weekly highlights-driven show covering the FA Women’s Super League (FA WSL) through an exclusive premium content partnership with Ata Football. In addition, later this month Just Women’s Sports will feature “Tea with A & Phee,” the popular podcast hosted by 2020 WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson and 2019 WNBA Rookie of the Year Napheesa Collier.
“Brands are beginning to see that women’s sports are more than a popular cause — they’re a generational investment opportunity which will reward those who make a commitment today,” said Rosen. “Ali joins our team at a crucial time, as we’re creating compelling, valuable content for an audience that is hungry for more. Ali’s depth of experience and creative ingenuity will be huge for us as we look to partner with advertisers and sponsors that share our vision of what women’s sports coverage can and should be.”
“As a former college athlete, I am really excited to join the Just Women’s Sports team to help elevate the business of women’s sports,” said Braverman. “Brands are really excited right now to join in the hype around women’s sports, and I can’t wait to begin expanding the JWS footprint as we create unmatched partnership opportunities.”
