Kelsey Plum is staying in Las Vegas, inking a new deal with the Aces.

Plum signed a two-year contract extension with the WNBA team, as first reported by Just Women’s Sports’Β Rachel Galligan.

The move comes one week after Plum earned WNBA All-Star MVP honors for her 30-point performance in Chicago.

β€œKelsey Plum is a generational talent, and one of the hardest working athletes I have ever known,” Las Vegas Aces General Manager Natalie Williams said in a statement. β€œHer preparation and work ethic are second to none. Kelsey has the ability to impact the game in so many facets, and with the great mentorship of Coach Becky Hammon, she is proving herself to be one the best guards in the WNBA. We are thrilled to re-sign her, and strengthen our incredibly talented core group.”

Plum, the No. 1 pick of the 2017 draft, is having a breakout season, averaging 20.3 points, 5.5 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game in her fourth season with the Aces.

Last season, the 27-year-old was named the Sixth Woman of the Year and won a gold medal with Team USA in the first-ever 3×3 basketball competition at the Tokyo Olympics.

The Aces are currently second in the league standings at 18-7.
