When NBA 2K27 Season 2 launches this Friday, Caitlin Clark will once again be front and center. The Indiana Fever guard already earned a spot on the NBA 2K27 cover as the Deluxe Edition athlete earlier this year.
Now, she's co-headlining this week's update as the game continues its push to feature WNBA talent alongside NBA stars.
Indiana Athletes Take Spotlight in NBA 2K27 Season 2
Clark shares the Season 2 spotlight with Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who sat out the entire 2025/26 season after tearing his Achilles in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. The pairing ties both of Indiana's pro basketball franchises to the update's launch.
And Fever WNBA fans will spot another familiar name in the season pass rewards. Clark's teammate Kelsey Mitchell is one of 80 free unlockables available across MyCAREER and MyTEAM.
Mitchell earned the nod after leading the Fever in scoring at 24.7 points per game while shooting 45% from three this season. Paired with Clark's 22.3 points and team-best 8.3 assists per game, the two guards drove the league's top-scoring offense to a 28-16 record.
Beyond those two, Season 2 introduces GOAT Builds modeled after legends like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, refreshed Crew Divisions, and the return of Sunset Beach from NBA 2K17.
