Nebraska volleyball kept its unbeaten season intact Thursday, dispatching No. 16 Penn State 25-20, 25-17, 25-18 at Rec Hall. The win pushed the Huskers to 3-0 in Big Ten play. It also delivered another milestone, as head coach Dani Busboom Kelly notched win No. 250, reaching the mark in just 295 matches. She's now the fourth-fastest to reach that number in NCAA volleyball history.
Husker Volleyball Survives Opening Set to Secure Sweep
Offensively, Nebraska looked sharp from the opening serve.
Harper Murray finished with 13 kills on .400 hitting and added four blocks alongside two aces, while Andi Jackson posted 11 kills at a .625 clip with seven blocks to reinforce the front row.
Bergen Reilly tied the attack together with 34 assists and 16 digs, notching the 46th double-double of her career. Her 4,145 career assists also moved her into the Husker volleyball program's all-time top three.
As a team, Nebraska hit .419 and held Penn State to just .230, a gap that grew after a tight opening set. The road win gave the Huskers 21 straight away from home, one of the longest streaks in women's college volleyball.
