A record 15,405 fans turned out for Nebraska volleyball at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Wednesday night — the largest indoor crowd Husker women's college volleyball has ever hosted. However, they only needed to stay for three sets, as the No. 1 Huskers swept No. 20 Creighton 25-13, 25-15, 25-19 to improve to an 8-0 record this NCAA season.
Huskers Stay in Control Against Creighton Volleyball
From the opening serve, Nebraska's defense controlled the match. Creighton volleyball managed just a -.033 hitting percentage, marking their worst of the NCAA season.
That, combined with the Huskers' brick wall at the net meant the Bluejays failed to lead in any set. Meanwhile, four Nebraska attackers logged eight or more kills in a balanced offensive effort for their side.
Andi Jackson anchored the front row with nine kills and six blocks. Kenna Cogill, making her first collegiate start, added eight kills at a .727 clip. Bergen Reilly then tied the attack together with 33 assists and 11 digs for her third double-double of 2026.
What's Next on the Nebraska Volleyball Schedule
The sweep extended the Huskers' all-time series record over the Bluejays to 25-0 and marked their seventh three-set win of the year.
As Nebraska's volleyball schedule shifts into Big Ten conference play, the Huskers are sporting one of women's college volleyball's most complete rosters. The Huskers will look to test that depth against No. 25 North Carolina on Friday at 8 PM ET.
