NWSL vs. Olivia Moultrie is back for another round.

The NWSL filed an appeal yesterday in the 9th Circuit, once again arguing that the age-limit rule preventing players under 18 from taking the field doesn’t violate antitrust law.

The league is hoping to get a previous preliminary injunction overturned.

In the filing, the NWSL argues that the district court “directly interfered with the ongoing collective bargaining process between the League and the players’ union by entering an injunction based on one of the very conditions of employment subject to those negotiations.”

Since being granted a preliminary injunction, the 15-year-old Moultrie has signed with the Portland Thorns and appeared in two games for the club, becoming the youngest player in NWSL history.
