With a match against the Red Stars slated for Saturday, the Portland Thorns are happy just to have made it to Chicago in one piece.
There journey wasn’t without some hiccups: Thorns’ captain Christine Sinclair posted to her TikTok on Thursday, revealing that the Thorns’ bus had caught fire.

Shortly after, the Thorns’ tweeted out in regards to the incident, revealing that everyone was okay.
“As you may have seen, our bus caught on fire in Chicago,” they wrote. “Thankfully, no players or staff were injured.”

Luckily, nobody was injured and the Thorns have made it to Chicago safely. They play the Red Stars at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday.
