Jessica Shepard scored her fifth triple-double of the WNBA season on Thursday as the Dallas Wings topped the LA Sparks 97-77 at home. The All-Star forward finished with 12 assists, 11 rebounds, and 13 points on the night — despite Rae Burrell's best efforts.
She now trails only Alyssa Thomas for the most career triple-doubles in WNBA history.

The Wings' first game since the FIBA Women's World Cup was knotted at 44-44 through halftime. After the break, though, Dallas took control, posting a 25-14 third quarter performance.
The team closed the third on a 12-0 surge that carried into the fourth, pushing the lead to 25 points. The Wings also outrebounded LA 46-27, shooting 51% while holding the Sparks to just 37% as they widened the gap.
Paige Bueckers, fresh off her gold-medal winning run, led Dallas with 19 points while five teammates joined her in double figures. For LA, Rae Burrell finished with 12 points and four assists, while Nneka Ogwumike paced the Sparks with 18 in what was likely her final WNBA game in Texas.
The Wings already secured their first playoff berth since 2023 earlier in the season. Now, they've matched the franchise's all-time win mark at 25, netting five straight victories in the final stretch of regular season play.
