The game amassed 755,000 viewers on ABC, despite both Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart being absent. The stars were resting following their gold-medal run at the Tokyo Olympics and Commissioner’s Cup victory last Thursday. Stewart also recently welcomed a baby girl with wife Marta Xargay.
It’s the latest in a string of high ratings for women’s sports, with the WNBA’s midseason viewership totals rising 44 percent.
