This Mother’s Day, Napheesa Collier will be celebrating the impending arrival of her daughter.
Due at the end of May, Collier will be featured in a three-part docuseries tracking her journey to motherhood. The WNBA on Sunday unveiled a teaser for the video series, in which Collier says that she has had a relatively easy pregnancy.

The Minnesota Lynx forward also says it “feels really weird” to have been away from the court for such a long time, and she’s looking forward to reuniting with her teammates.
While Collier’s status for this WNBA season is unknown, she has said that she would like to play with Sylvia Fowles during her final season.
“I think it’s definitely going to be challenging to get back on the court, but I’m a hard worker. I’m gonna do whatever I need to to get my body back in shape,” Collier said. “I’m really excited to bring her around my teammates. To see her at the game with her little jersey on and Alex holding her on the sidelines I think is gonna be really cute.”
Collier, the 2019 Rookie of the Year and a two-time WNBA All-Star, signed a multi-year extension with the Lynx in the offseason. The three-part docuseries will be released throughout 2022 and 2023, with the dates still to come.
