The WNBA playoffs are no joke—blink, and your team could be out. That’s how quickly the tables can turn when it’s single-elimination, win-or-go-home.
With the first two rounds now over, only four teams remain. Starting Sunday, the Minnesota Lynx will do battle with the Seattle Storm as the Connecticut Sun take on the Las Vegas Aces in their respective best-of-5 semifinals series.
But before we get into the grind of the semifinal series, it’s only right to pay homage to a chaotic and eventful week of single-elimination play.
IN ROUND 1, DIANA TAURASI AND SKYLAR DIGGINS-SMITH CONTINUED THEIR RUN AS THE HOTTEST BACK COURT IN THE LEAGUE

THE SUN, MEANWHILE, STUNNED THE SPARKS WITH AN END-TO-END THUMPING OF THE NO. 3 SEED. NOT BAD FOR A TEAM THAT STARTED THE YEAR 0-5.
