The deal runs for eight years, beginning in 2023. Turner Sports and HBO will hold the English-language rights to USWNT matches, replacing ESPN and Fox Sports, who hold the rights through 2022. More than 20 matches between the USMNT and the USWNT will be held annually on HBO Max, with about half also on TNT or TBS.
Fox Sports will still hold the rights to the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
Turner will hold the rights for World Cup home qualifiers, friendlies, send-off matches and special events like the SheBelieves Cup.
