The Women’s College World Series welcomed the largest crowd in tournament history to the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City on Saturday.
In all, 12,533 fans descended upon the complex for the Session 4 matchups between No. 1 Oklahoma and unseeded Texas as well as No. 14 Florida and No. 7 Oklahoma State.

Sunday followed up Saturday’s historic turnout, with 12,403 spectators showing out in Oklahoma City for the second-largest WCWS crowd in history.
The event has been drawing record-breaking attendance numbers throughout, with more than 12,000 fans attending each of the first two days of the competition last Thursday and Friday.
Viewership has also been up for the WCWS, with 813,000 viewers tuning into opening day, making it the most-watched opener of the tournament since 2008.
