No. 1 Nebraska volleyball took on its first road test with a dominant sweep of South Dakota State on Wednesday, winning 25-18, 25-20, 25-15 to improve to 3-0. Husker volleyball never faced a deficit larger than a single point as the SDSU vs Nebraska matchup scored a sellout crowd of 5,113, marking a new arena record at First Bank & Trust Arena.

Teraya Sigler paced Nebraska's offense with 10 kills on .320 hitting, a new season high. She also contributed four digs and three blocks on the defensive end. Meanwhile, setter Bergen Reilly finished with 32 assists, bringing her career number to 3,817, enough to leapfrog Nikki Stricker (1990-93) for fifth in program history.
But the final score didn't capture how lopsided the match felt defensively. Nebraska registered 10 blocks and limited SDSU to a .011 hitting percentage across all three sets.
Beyond the court, the sellout continued a pattern. Over the last four seasons, 17 opposing arenas have set new attendance records when the Huskers were in town.
