The Portland Thorns announced Monday that the presale for the NWSL Championship game has been postponed, with a new date to be announced.

The move comes after many were upset over the decisions made by the NWSL in choice of location, citing the fact that Portland had already played host to two other championships this year and that their field is turf.

Additionally, many players called to light the absurdity of the start time, which currently sits at 9 a.m. local time.

OL Reign coach Laura Harvey also appealed to the NWSL, asking them to move the time of the championship game.

“It’s not ok for any team!” she wrote. “Showcase our amazing league and athletes the way they deserve.”

The final is set to kick off on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 12 p.m. ET.
