The heartwarming interaction all began with the youngster’s father encouraging her to yell out Aliyah’s name. After getting Boston’s attention, the South Carolina star quickly returned the greeting with a smile and a wave. The brief salutation packed a punch, with the little girl clutching her chest as tears began to well up, seemingly overwhelmed by the encounter.
Boston had just wrapped up a monster game against South Carolina, scoring 19 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in the Gamecocks’ 65-45 win.
