Lindy Duncan landed her first 2026 Solheim Cup roster spot on Sunday, named a captain's pick by Angela Stanford alongside Rose Zhang and Megan Khang. At 35, Duncan becomes the oldest US debutant since Nancy Scranton, who was 39 and No. 64 LPGA rankings when she played in 2000. And as the schedule winds down, Duncan is Team USA's only pick without an LPGA Tour win.

Still, Stanford saw enough in Duncan's play across this season's LPGA schedule to trust her at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands from September 11-13.
Zhang, meanwhile, brings a 4-2-1 record from two prior Solheim appearances. She swept all four of her matches in 2024 without needing a 17th hole. Khang adds even more experience ahead of her fifth tournament appearance, entering unbeaten in singles play.
Yet the full 12-player roster carries open questions. Only five US golfers have won a title since the last Solheim outing, and current LPGA rankings place all three captain's picks outside the Top 60. The US also hasn't won on European soil since 2015, despite leading the all-time series 11-7-1.
With world No. 1 Nelly Korda anchoring the 2026 lineup, Stanford will need every pick to deliver if Team USA wants to defend the title they reclaimed in 2024.

LPGA Schedule's Last Stop Decides US Solheim Cup 2026 Team
Nelly Korda leads the seven players who earned spots through US Solheim Cup points. Angel Yin, Jennifer Kupcho, Yealimi Noh, Auston Kim, Lauren Coughlin, and Allisen Corpuz fill out that group. Andrea Lee and Alison Lee then clinched the final two automatic bids through the women's world golf rankings after the CPKC Women's Open. The tournament was the last qualifying event on the LPGA schedule.
Stanford also tapped Megan Khang, Rose Zhang, and Lindy Duncan as her wildcard selections, completing the US team lineup. Khang returns for a fifth straight Solheim Cup, while Zhang posted a perfect 4-0 record in 2024. Duncan, 35, is the only debutante on the roster.
Alison Lee's return adds another layer to this year's tournament. She will become the first mom to compete for Team USA since Cristie Kerr in 2017. Lee welcomed her son Levi in April 2025, posting three Top 5 finishes this season alone.
The US carries an 11-7-1 all-time series lead into the September event.
The fourth major championship of the 2025 LPGA season teed off on Thursday, as golf's best gathered to compete for the $8 million overall purse at the Evian Championship in Évian-les-Bains, France.
Along with eight other past champions, 25-year-old Japanese golfer and world No. 16 Ayaka Furue entered this week's edition looking to defend her 2024 title, finishing the opening round at four-under-par to sit in a respectable nine-way tie for seventh place.
No. 17 Céline Boutier, the 2023 champion, trailed Furue by one stroke, with the Frenchwoman heading into Friday's second round tied for 16th with six other golfers, including the US's No. 35 Megan Khang.
Currently leading the US contingent are No. 36 Andrea Lee and No. 38 Jennifer Kupcho, whose six-under opening round has them tied with three others at the top of the 2025 Evian Championship leaderboard.
Two strokes below the leaders — and clustered in that seventh-place tie with Furue — is world No. 1 Nelly Korda, making a solid start by finishing the day with four straight birdies.
Korda is hunting both a third career major title and her first win of the 2025 LPGA season this week.
"Overall, a couple parts of my game helped me and rescued me, and the other parts let me down," said Korda, following her opening round play. "That's golf. Just going to try and figure it out on the range."
Should Korda, or the other US contenders, finish the weekend atop the field, the US could see its first Evian champion since Angela Stanford in 2018.
