With just over four minutes remaining, Reese sank a corner 3-pointer to snap an 87-87 tie and ignite a decisive run. She then added two free throws to push the lead to five.
"Angel made big emotional plays that gave us the energy to close it out," head coach Karl Smesko said of his star forward's performance.
Guards Allisha Gray added 20 points while Jordin Canada had 16 points with nine assists. The win moves Atlanta (14-10) past a rough stretch in which the team had dropped six of its previous seven matchups.
