The United States women’s national team sailed to a 4-0 victory over Jamaica on Sunday night, securing their second win of the 2021 Summer Series.
The action got underway early in Houston, with the first tally coming in the game’s opening minute. Carli Lloyd’s go-ahead finish 23 seconds into the match marked the second-fastest goal in USWNT history.
Rose Lavelle’s floating ball to the far post set Lloyd up to become the oldest player to score for the national team. At 38 years and 332 days old, Lloyd passed Kristine Lilly for the milestone.
